How we use local storage, maps and external services — and how to manage your consent.
Last reviewed: July 2026.
Ecclesiam is a Catholic non-profit and we keep data collection to a minimum. We use no tracking, advertising or audience-analytics cookies. This page transparently describes everything stored on your device and every piece of data sent to third parties.
What we do NOT do
No audience analytics, no ads, no third-party pixels or trackers, no cross-site profiling. Fonts are self-hosted (no Google Fonts) and Next.js telemetry is disabled.
We use the browser's localStorage — not cookies — for essential features. This data stays on your device and is not automatically sent to anyone.

Some features rely on external providers that may process data outside Brazil and the EU:
International data transfer
When you use maps or parish photos, your IP address may be transferred to CARTO/OpenStreetMap and Supabase servers located outside Brazil/the EU. We do this only on an adequate legal basis (consent for maps; contract/legitimate interest for authentication) and seek appropriate safeguards.
You may exercise, free of charge, the following rights over your personal data:
We respond without undue delay (as a rule within 15 days under the LGPD; ~30 days under the GDPR). We may confirm your identity via your registered e-mail before acting.
Contact the Data Protection OfficerYou may also lodge a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or, in the EU, your local data protection authority.
